Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead and direct overall supply chain operations including purchasing, inventory management, vendor selection, and distribution of finished goods. This leadership role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure critical supply chain processes run effectively and align with organizational goals and performance KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct overall supply chain operations encompassing purchasing, inventory, vendor selection, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize processes and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal contracts and pricing.
  • Utilize data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance, identify trends, and forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
  • Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the supply chain sub-function within the broader departmental function.
  • Develop and manage budgets, policies, and procedures to support the supply chain infrastructure.
  • Manage staffing, pay decisions, training, evaluations, supervision, and budgeting within the supply chain function.
  • Report directly to top management, providing insights and updates on supply chain performance and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of managerial experience in supply chain or related functions.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain sub-functions and solid understanding of overall departmental operations.
