Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. You will work in a dynamic atmosphere, collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources to facilitate effective treatment plans. The workweek runs from Monday to Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while maintaining productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including the review of medical history and assessment data, to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, fostering active participation in goal setting by incorporating their feedback and concerns.
• Implement treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs, regularly adapting techniques and strategies based on their progress and the latest healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, recognizing when changes in a patient's condition require modifications to their treatment plan or referrals for specialized care.
• Perform thorough documentation of patient care, ensuring accurate tracking of treatment objectives, progress summaries, and discharge plans in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Manage time efficiently while meeting productivity benchmarks, ensuring that patient schedules are maintained and meetings are attended punctually.
• Contribute to departmental goals, participate in community outreach programs, and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
• Prepare metrics and data for improving patient access and engagement, contributing to team-based initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Refresh & Motion, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities to positively impact our patients' recovery journeys, emphasizing function, mobility, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey, with compliance to all regulatory requirements.
• Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates with a range of experience levels, it is preferred that applicants have at least two years of relevant clinical experience in outpatient settings. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to build rapport with patients and their families, essential for effective rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
