Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Receptive Counseling LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to address the diverse social, emotional, and medical needs of patients, providing insight and making referrals as necessary.
• Creating tailored treatment plans to guide therapeutic interventions, ensuring they align with patients' unique goals and challenges.
• Conducting thorough assessments for all new clients, utilizing established social work theories and techniques to evaluate their social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Identifying barriers to effective treatment, employing strategies to overcome these obstacles and enhance patient outcomes.
• Managing patient care through the development of comprehensive management plans, which may include coordinating referrals to specialty services and recording detailed progress notes.
• Administering therapeutic support to clients, guiding them in understanding their health issues, treatment options, and enabling them to advocate for their own needs.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
• Current and valid California state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience practicing social work in a health-related setting.
• Proven ability to collect and analyze data to assess patient and family needs effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong capability to produce detailed case narratives and progress reports.
• In-depth knowledge of assessment, interviewing, and counseling techniques tailored to diverse client populations.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth methodologies, crisis intervention, or specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also beneficial for optimizing client documentation and care coordination.
