Job description

Job Title: Food Runner

Supervisor: General Manager & Service Manager

Location: Fort Worth, TX

General Responsibilities:

Food Runners are expected to be an extension of the wait staff in providing Legendary Service to our guests. Ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience when their food is presented exceeding their expectations. Proactively work in a fast-paced team and guest centered environment.


Specific Duties:

  1. Properly serving and delivering guests food and beverages
  2. Assist in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables for next guest
  3. Exhibit unsurpassed customer service and hospitality to each guest.
  4. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and the server stations
  5. Practice teamwork by assisting other employees whenever needed.
  6. Perform any extended duties as assigned by a manager.
  7. Protect Reata Restaurant from liability under Bram Shop legislation by practicing responsible alcohol service measures at all times.
  8. Understand and enforce local Alcohol and Beverage Commission laws and regulations.
  9. Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed and dressed in proper uniform.

Qualifications:

Must have an optimistic and assertive attitude.

Thrives in a fast paced environment.

Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and carry 35lbs as needed.

Continuous use of hand and arms.

Continuous standing, walking, climbing, reaching and twisting.
