RSP Auto Repair is an independent, locally owned automotive repair shop in Fort Pierce, serving Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and the surrounding Treasure Coast. We built our reputation on one simple idea: dealership-quality diagnostics and repairs without dealership prices. Our shop is growing, and we're looking for a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our small, tight-knit team of experienced technicians.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and computer-controlled vehicle systems using our structured process: Scan, Duplicate, Verify, Prove, Repair & Confirm
• Perform engine and transmission repairs, brake and suspension work, cooling system and A/C service, and routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, tire service)
• Identify the true root cause of an issue — we don't believe in guess-and-replace repairs
• Conduct thorough inspections and clearly communicate findings so our service advisor can walk customers through what's wrong, why, and what it costs
• Keep accurate service records and maintain a clean, organized bay
• Represent RSP's standard of honest, professional work on every vehicle

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic/technician
• Strong diagnostic skills across multiple makes and models — general repair, not custom/performance work
• ASE certification preferred (or willingness to work toward one)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Own hand tools (shop provides diagnostic equipment and heavy tools)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with a small crew
