Job description

Rajan Legal PC a central New Jersey Law Firm is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with exceptional communication skills and a knack for organization. In order to be successful in this position you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a very fast-paced high-volume environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail in work product and proficiency using MS Office. This is a full-time permanent position, office hours are 9am to 5:30pm. Salary range $60,000 to $90,000 per year commensurate with experience. 
Responsibilities:
·         As a paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with managing and closing complex commercial real estate and corporate transactions;
·         Prepare and manage deal files and maintain deal checklist;
·         Assist attorneys in preparing entity formation and organizational documents;
·         Create, compose, and edit written materials and transaction documents;
·         Support due diligence efforts for real estate transactions, including the review of title reports, surveys, and other third-party reports;
·         Conduct legal research related to real estate matters, including zoning regulations, property records, and relevant case law;
·         Draft correspondence and facilitate communication with clients, counterparties’ counsel, and outside vendors under the guidance of supervising attorneys;
·         Assist in the preparation of signature pages, closing files for distribution, and closing binders;
·         Handle various administrative tasks necessary for deal management, such as file management, scanning, copying, and preparing FedEx packages; and
·         Maintain detailed time records and submit daily time entries with a minimum hourly requirement of 25 billable hours per week. 
Requirements:
A minimum of three to five years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal is preferred.
Qualification as a Notary Public 
Authorized to work in US 
Must be able to commute to our Kendall Park, NJ office.
