About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Health, Safety & Environment, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining R&R Machine Service’s Health, Safety & Environmental Management System.
You will work closely with supervisors, managers and employees to ensure compliance with OSHA / UOSH regulations while driving continual improvement throughout the business.
This is primarily an operational role requiring regular presence within the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all departments.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits.
- Lead incident investigations and identify root causes.
- Support supervisors with hazard assessments and risk management.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs.
- Coordinate new employee safety orientation.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and regulatory documentation.
- Assist with emergency preparedness and response planning.
- Manage safety statistics and KPI reporting.
- Coordinate corrective actions and verify completion.
- Participate in equipment, process and facility risk assessments.
- Support contractor safety management.
- Maintain SDS and chemical management systems.
- Assist with environmental compliance activities.
- Participate in corporate HSE projects across the Westpower Group.

Qualifications
Required:
- Degree, diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years HSE experience in manufacturing, industrial or heavy industry.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Experience conducting incident investigations.
- Experience delivering safety training.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
- ASP, CSP or equivalent professional designation.
- ISO 45001 experience.
- Experience implementing HSE Management Systems.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Forklift, overhead crane or industrial manufacturing experience.
- OSHA 10/30
