Job description

A Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in maintaining patients' oral health through preventive care and periodontal treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform teeth cleaning to remove plaque and tartar
  • Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices
  • Administer dental X-rays safely and accurately
  • Conduct periodontal assessments to detect gum disease
  • Focus on preventive dental care to maintain oral health
  • Provide periodontal treatments to manage gum conditions

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skills in patient education and oral health assessment
  • Knowledge of periodontal therapy and dental radiography
  • Familiarity with infection control procedures
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
