About the Company

This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation process of a major global bank’s settlement services, from contract signing to system go-live. The Lead ensures seamless integration by coordinating between the client’s needs and various internal departments (Sales, Product Development, IT, Operations, and overseas HQ).

This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation process of a major global bank’s settlement services, from contract signing to system go-live. The Lead ensures seamless integration by coordinating between the client’s needs and various internal departments (Sales, Product Development, IT, Operations, and overseas HQ).



Responsibilities


  • Project Management & Coordination
  • Lead implementation projects ranging from 5 to 50 members in scale, ensuring all milestones are met on schedule.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including Sales, Product, IT, and Operations teams, as well as the Tokyo Headquarters to align on technical and operational requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure a successful system launch.
  • Client Relationship Management & Technical Support
  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand their specific payment and settlement needs.
  • Guide clients through the necessary documentation, compliance requirements, and system configuration settings.
  • Provide technical support during the initial setup and testing phases, overseeing the process until the service is fully operational.
  • Administrative & Operational Support
  • Handle administrative tasks related to account setup and contract processing as required.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status updates to management.
  • Adapt to a variety of ad-hoc tasks to support the team’s goals and ensure client satisfaction.




Qualifications

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Japanese and English (Read/Write/Speak).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Tokyo HQ in Japanese and with local clients/teams in English.
  • Professional Experience: Experience in Project Leading/Management (managing scales of 5 to 50 people).
  • Industry Knowledge: Background in Financial Services or IT/FinTech is plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical clients.

Pay range and compensation package

89K‐95K plus bonus
