The Payroll/HR Manager oversees the payroll process and human resources functions to ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees while maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role involves managing payroll operations, employee records, benefits administration, and HR support to foster a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Maintain employee records and HR information systems
• Administer employee benefits and compensation programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws - Knowledge of New York & New Jersey laws preferred.
• Coordinate with finance for payroll reporting and budgeting
• Address and resolve payroll and HR-related employee inquiries
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures
