Patient care specialist that works as both individual-care-provider and as part of a diagnostic team under the guidance of a Diagnostic Supervisor & the Radiologists. Performs tasks abiding by P&P, State Regulations, & ALARA radiation safety principles. Utilizes x-ray photon producing equipment to image the human body. Works under potentially stressful situations i.e., trauma cases. Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Qualifications

• Active status as a Registered Technologist-Radiology.
• Current State Department of Health license.
• Registry in Computed Tomography is preferred; however, will consider training for the right candidate.
