Job description

 Full-time, on-site position in Orange County. Lead day-to-day escrow operations in a collaborative office environment, oversee the full transaction lifecycle, supervise staff, ensure compliance and quality, and drive production/growth. Ideal for an experienced professional ready to run the desk and the broader operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all escrow transactions from open through closing, funding, recording, and post-close in an on-site setting.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor escrow officers/assistants; maintain high performance, accuracy, and client service standards.
  • Manage complex/high-volume files; handle title clearance, document preparation/review, balancing, disbursements, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure strict compliance with DFPI and all regulations; conduct audits, reconciliations, and risk mitigation.
  • Build/strengthen relationships with agents, lenders, and clients through in-person and direct communication; support business development.
  • Optimize office workflows and contribute to operational excellence and growth.
  • Trust Accounting- Receive daily incoming wires, deposit funds into general and trust account, daily and monthly bank reconciliation

Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years progressive California escrow experience, including proven success running a producing desk.
  • Prior leadership/supervisory experience preferred; eligibility for DFPI manager approval strongly preferred.
  • Transferable book of business highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of CA escrow processes, title, compliance, and closing practices; Notary a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with major escrow software and Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable for full-time on-site work; high school diploma or equivalent + relevant continuing education.
