Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting methods to meet diverse requirements.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to construct tailored treatment pathways.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver holistic care and address all facets of client well-being.
• Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal guidelines, ensuring that records reflect the therapeutic process and outcomes.
• Engage in continuous education to stay updated with the most current research and therapeutic techniques, participating in workshops and professional development opportunities.

The clients you will support at Progressive Counseling Services come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide array of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, with proven ability to deliver impactful therapeutic interventions.
• Solid understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertinent to counseling practice to ensure compliance and advocacy for clients’ rights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Ability to work in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, emphasizing integrated care for the clients.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and familiarity with relevant software for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or experience in trauma, substance abuse treatment, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly preferred to better serve our specialized client needs.
• Prior experience in a community health setting can be beneficial for understanding systemic challenges faced by clients.
• Awareness of cultural competency principles that can enhance therapeutic engagement and effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, depending on your caseload and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision plans, as well as a generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
