Position Overview

PrimeStaff Services is partnering with a growing manufacturing client seeking a seasoned Program Manager with deep experience in supply chain, manufacturing, and cross-functional business transformation to lead two high-priority strategic initiatives. This role requires a program leader who can develop execution strategies, align stakeholders, manage risks, drive communication across the organization, and establish repeatable processes that will support future material transition programs. The ideal candidate is more than a project manager, they are a business-minded program leader who understands the operational, commercial, and supply chain implications of major product and material changes. This is a hybrid-onsite role in the greater Minneapolis area.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional supply chain and manufacturing programs from planning through execution.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, governance structures, and communication strategies.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Finance, IT, and external partners.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and operational impacts.
• Establish executive reporting, project governance, and change management frameworks.
• Drive successful adoption of new processes, workflows, and operational improvements.
• Monitor milestones, resource allocation, and project performance to ensure successful outcomes.
• Create sustainable, repeatable processes for future material and product lifecycle transition initiatives.
• Managing customer-specific transition requirements.
• Building a long-term process that can be leveraged for future material change programs.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of program and project management experience within manufacturing and supply chain environments.
• Proven success leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives involving product, manufacturing, supply chain, or operational transformation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, sourcing, procurement, logistics, and product lifecycle management.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and formal project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to quickly understand business operations and assess downstream impacts of program decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Consulting experience leading strategic client engagements.
• Experience in medical device, biopharma, regulated manufacturing, plastics, or related industries.
• Background in product lifecycle management and material change programs.

Summary

This is a 6–7 month consulting engagement focused on driving strategic material transition and operational change programs. The role will require a strong onsite presence in Arden Hills, MN during project initiation and planning phases to build stakeholder relationships, establish governance, and align execution strategies. As the program progresses and processes become established, the onsite requirement is expected to taper off, allowing for greater flexibility while maintaining project momentum and key stakeholder engagement.
