Job Summary:
To ensure success as an inventory control supervisor, you should be highly organized and have detailed knowledge of supply chain management software and practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
· Oversees employees related to the distribution of stocked materials to crews
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinating supply acquisition and distribution
- Communicate with field employees to determine short and medium range supply and equipment needs
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate for, purchase, and acquire supplies and equipment from the list of authorized items
- Practice good customer service with both internal field employees and suppliers
- Maintaining the company inventory and property
- Prepare orders for delivery to the field including loading and unloading trucks
- Coordinate unloading and intake of supplies and equipment when delivered
- Perform periodic maintenance tasks to ensure the supply yard/office is kept in good, safe condition
- Ensure accurate, up to date records
- Keep an accurate inventory of supplies in the computerized inventory management system, Odoo
- Monitor what equipment needs serviced using the computerized equipment tracking system and coordinate service times
- Log equipment maintenance records into the computerized equipment tracking system.
- Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out of stock
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records
- Meet strict deadlines for month end, year end and auditing requirements
- Develops and implements policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow

Education and Experience:
Must have experience in related field with coursework in purchasing and/or inventory control management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, warehousing logistics, buying construction materials or similar.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of constant sitting, moving, bending and lifting
