Premier Pawz Inn

Premier Pawz Inn and Suites is a home-based bussiness and seeking a reliable, animal-loving Part-Time On-Call Pet Care Attendant to assist with pet care services during a temporary coverage period beginning in August. This position is expected to last for several weeks but may also lead to future opportunities for holiday coverage, vacation coverage, and other on-call needs throughout the year.

The ideal candidate must be dependable, comfortable working independently, and confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.

Schedule Needed

• Monday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Schedule may vary based on boarding occupancy and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Feed and provide fresh water to boarding dogs
• Take dogs outside for potty breaks and exercise
• Monitor pets for health, safety, and behavior concerns
• Clean kennels, play areas, and pet-related equipment
• Administer basic care instructions as directed
• Provide exceptional care and attention to all pets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
• Checking in/out pets and communicating with pet parents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Previous customer service skills
• Previous pet care, veterinary, kennel, daycare, or animal handling experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have reliable transportationWhat I'm Looking For
