Network Operations Technician
Department: Plant
Premier Communications is seeking a Network Operations Technician to join our team. This behind-the-scenes role supports the configuration and integration of systems that deliver internet, telephone, and video services to customers in Northwest Iowa. The ideal candidate will be a strong troubleshooter, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. While the role emphasizes video and network operations, training will be provided to support a wide range of technologies over time.
This role focuses on supporting video delivery systems and network infrastructure. An understanding of information technology, computer networking and associated hardware is preferred, but training will be provided. Responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting service platforms, assisting with network configurations, and handling customer support escalations. The position is primarily based in our central operations facility, with occasional travel for integration support and industry events. Cross-training opportunities will be available to expand your expertise across Premier's service platforms.
A successful candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, a collaborative attitude, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
