Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgical procedures in a rehabilitation setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic methods, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient-specific equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting all treatments and responses to adapt therapy plans as necessary.
• Engage in regular reevaluation of therapeutic goals, ensuring that treatment plans evolve to meet the changing needs of patients.
• Educate and train patients, their families, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques, including the proper use of assistive devices to enhance self-care and mobility.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices through continuing education, workshops, and participation in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our orthopedic physical therapist will be on patients of varied ages experiencing mobility impairments due to orthopedic injuries, trauma, surgeries, or chronic conditions. This role is critical in guiding patients towards regaining their independence and functionality through evidence-based treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate's Degree in Physical Therapy is essential.
• Current state licensure for Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adeptly use technology, including electronic health records (EHR) systems and productivity software.

Preferred Experience
