Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications and services. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for mentoring team members while driving engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack.
• Drive performance optimization, system reliability, and application security initiatives.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps initiatives to improve development efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining distributed systems, APIs, and web applications.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of modern development practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience working in high-growth or startup environments.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and message queue technologies.
• Previous experience leading projects or serving as a technical mentor.
