Work Environment

Located in the scenic Lehigh Acres, our rehabilitation center provides an inviting and patient-centered environment where both staff and patients feel welcomed and valued. As a member of our onsite team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver tailored therapy services. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced lifestyle while allowing you to make a substantial impact on patient health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored orthopedic rehabilitation services that meet the distinct goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a personalized patient caseload, ensuring that each patient receives ample time for assessment and treatment.
• Utilize your experience to deliver effective outpatient orthopedic care, leveraging evidence-based practices and manual therapy techniques.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that may include a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Guide patients towards non-surgical treatment options, focusing on improving mobility and reducing dependence on medications.
• Adapt fitness and wellness programs to align with patients' specific rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care activities comprehensively using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and supportive treatment atmosphere.
• Collaborate seamlessly with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance treatment outcomes and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Posture Perfect Physical Therapy, our primary focus is on orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work with a diverse client population that includes post-surgical patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals seeking relief from chronic pain. Each patient’s unique background and healthcare needs will allow you to apply specialized knowledge and skills to support their recovery.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A clean license record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• Ability to craft and execute effective exercise programs tailored to patient rehabilitation needs.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly Web PT, for detailed patient documentation.
• Continual engagement with the latest physical therapy practices, ensuring evidence-based treatments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing diverse patient demographics while maintaining high standards of care.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
