Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions by employing effective therapeutic techniques, ensuring that clients feel heard and supported in a safe online environment.
  • Facilitate discussions around challenging emotions, guiding clients in recognizing their feelings and developing coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to create and implement personalized treatment plans based on detailed assessments that reflect their unique backgrounds and circumstances.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining accurate and up-to-date client documentation, tracking progress, and streamlining communication with fellow clinicians.
  • Participate actively in regular team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client care and clinical practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, family conflicts, trauma, and other life challenges. Positive Development Behavioral Counseling values a holistic approach, integrating culturally competent practices that respect and understand each client’s unique life experiences. As a counselor, you will be pivotal in guiding clients toward emotional growth and mental stability.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Current licenses in good standing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) allowing you to practice without supervision.
  • Demonstrable experience in conducting therapy and developing client-centric treatment plans is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage and connect with clients in a virtual setting.
  • Proficient in using technology and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms to maximize the therapeutic experience.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in a mental health setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of best practices in therapy.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and varying demographics, providing culturally sensitive care tailored to individual needs.
  • Familiarity with telehealth regulations and best practices in remote service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, tailored to the individual’s experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
