Role Description This is an on-site Software Engineer internship role based in Brentwood, CA. Interns will collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and maintain backend services and application features, using modern programming languages and frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new functionality, fixing bugs, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. Interns will assist with integrating APIs, optimizing application performance, and contributing to technical documentation. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software development, version control, and deployment workflows under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, with familiarity in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
• Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, server-side frameworks, and database interactions.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to design modular, reusable components.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Comfort with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and code quality.
• Ability to work on-site in Brentwood, CA, engage with cross-functional team members, and communicate clearly in a professional setting.
