Pivot Intermodal

Pivot Intermodal is seeking experienced 1099 Company Drivers for both local and over-the-road (OTR) work. We are an asset-based intermodal carrier operating out of the Port of Houston, handling drayage, transloads, and regional freight.

We are looking for reliable, professional drivers who are familiar with port operations, container moves, and intermodal freight.

Compensation:

• 50/50 split of what the truck generates
• Guaranteed minimum of $1,200/week (based on availability and performance)
• Weekly settlements

Responsibilities:

• Transport containers to and from port terminals, rail yards, and customer locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Communicate with dispatch regarding load status and any issues
• Ensure cargo is secured and transported safely
• Maintain compliance with DOT and company regulations

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience (intermodal preferred)
• Must have Port of Houston experience (Barbours Cut & Bayport preferred)
• TWIC card required
• Clean driving record
• Ability to handle local and OTR loads
• Strong communication and reliability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with overweight (OW) and chassis operations
• Familiarity with ELD systems
• Experience with port appointments and ingate/outgate processes
