Position Overview
The Team Member is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting daily club operations. This role requires strong knowledge of all offerings at The Picklr and the ability to communicate effectively with members and guests both in person and over the phone.
General Responsibilities
  • Manage the member and guest check-in process
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with inquiries
  • Understand all membership options and ways to play at The Picklr
  • Support and run core programming offerings
  • Use club software systems, including:
  • PlaybyPoint
  • Aircall
  • HubSpot
  • Wingfield
  • SWISH
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Assist with club cleaning and general maintenance
  • Complete assigned training on time
Qualifications
  • Ability to clearly explain memberships and programming offerings
  • Ability to set up, explain, and run all Picklr programs
  • Strong communication skills with team members and management
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with club software (PlaybyPoint, SWISH, Aircall)
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Ability to perform basic operational tasks (cleaning, restocking, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Preferred:
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of pickleball and its community
Growth & Additional Responsibilities
Team Members may take on additional responsibilities to grow within the role and earn increased hourly compensation.
Social Media
  • Capture photos and videos during club events
  • Post content to social media channels
  • Collaborate with ambassadors to promote events
  • Create content using Canva
  • Build and distribute monthly newsletters
  • Send push notifications
Membership Sales
  • Follow up with trial members for feedback
  • Guide players toward appropriate memberships based on activity
  • Identify and participate in community outreach opportunities
  • Contact local businesses for private event opportunities
  • Reach out to canceled members for feedback and re-engagement
Cleaning & Stocking
  • Maintain club cleanliness and organization
  • Monitor and maintain equipment (nets, benches, HVAC, TVs, etc.)
  • Reorder and restock pro shop and cooler items
  • Track inventory within PlaybyPoint
  • Maintain cleaning schedules for all club areas
Programming Support
  • Assist with scheduling core programming in PlaybyPoint
  • Coordinate with SWISH for leagues and brackets
  • Support tournaments and large events
  • Communicate with ambassadors for event participation
  • Conduct member surveys to gather program feedback
  • Review ambassador tracking on a quarterly basis
