Position Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our exceptional team at Physical Injury Recovery Rehab in Sacramento, California. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an onsite rehabilitation center. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and patient care teams to deliver comprehensive therapeutic services, contributing significantly to patients’ recovery journeys.

Work Environment

Situated in the vibrant city of Sacramento, our rehabilitation center provides a supportive and collaborative work environment where therapists, nurses, and medical professionals unite to foster patient recovery. The scheduled working hours for this full-time role are Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for optimal work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients, ensuring effective coordination with physicians and team members.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement personalized care plans aimed at achieving specific health goals and enhancing patient engagement.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide treatment within the professional code of ethics and legal scope of practice.
  • Evaluate therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status, and contribute to developing the overall plan of care based on each patient's unique needs.
  • Provide in-home therapeutic care, applying standardized procedures and innovative techniques to foster recovery and improve functional outcomes as per the physician’s guidance.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and self-management strategies to promote physical well-being outside of therapy sessions.
  • Prioritize and manage caseload effectively, determining daily staffing needs and coordinating patient assignments and hand-offs, ensuring continuity of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic is diverse, encompassing adults and children requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist at Physical Injury Recovery Rehab, you will be pivotal in helping patients enhance their mobility, recover from surgeries, and manage chronic conditions. Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of California.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • No prior experience is required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or related clinical settings, demonstrating strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices.
