Swimming Pool Service Technician / Equipment Repair Specialist

About Us
We are a growing swimming pool service and construction company seeking an experienced Pool Service Technician to diagnose, repair, replace, and install swimming pool equipment. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a skilled professional who understands electrical components, and industry codes.
Position Summary
The Pool Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing residential and commercial pool equipment, performing complete equipment installations, and ensuring all work meets applicable codes and manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment issues
- Repair and replace pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, valves, plumbing, and related equipment
- Perform complete equipment pad installations and upgrades
- Install and program pool automation systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to pool equipment
- Read and interpret equipment schematics and manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all installations comply with local and state codes
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Operate company vehicle safely and professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on pool equipment repair and installation experience
- Strong knowledge of pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, and pool hydraulics
- Ability to diagnose complex equipment failures independently
- Thorough understanding of pool industry standards and applicable codes
- Experience installing complete equipment pads from start to finish
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in Florida conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- Experience with Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and Raypak equipment
- Construction, pool electrical and pool plumbing experience highly desired

Compensation
$25–$40+ per hour based on experience and qualifications
