We're looking for experienced Foreman to lead our construction crews, deliver quality work safely, and help shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople on our Northern projects, specifically in Nunavut on a 21/7 rotation. If you're a hands-on leader who takes pride in building great projects and developing great teams, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do


As a Foreman, you'll provide day-to-day leadership on site while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Penn-co's high standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading concrete and general construction crews on commercial projects
  • Planning daily work activities and coordinating labour, equipment, and materials
  • Creating and maintaining crew schedules
  • Ensuring projects are adequately staffed and team members are prepared for daily work
  • Supervising concrete placement, formwork, finishing, and overall workmanship
  • Monitoring project progress and proactively addressing challenges or delays
  • Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity
  • Leading daily toolbox meetings and communicating project goals and safety expectations
  • Identifying and mitigating jobsite risks
  • Resolving issues professionally while fostering a positive team environment
  • Mentoring and developing crew members
  • Maintaining accurate site reports and documentation


What You Bring


We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people as much as building projects.

Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Carpenter certification or equivalent industry experience
  • Extensive commercial construction experience, including concrete work
  • Proven experience supervising construction crews
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Willingness to travel and work on remote projects as required
