Lube Technician

At Paul Thigpen Automotive Group, we’re looking for motivated individuals ready to start a rewarding career in the automotive industry!

This is an exciting opportunity to join Paul Thigpen Automotive Group as a Lube Technician, where you’ll receive hands-on training, manufacturer support, and a clear career path toward becoming a Certified Automotive Technician. Join a respected, family-owned company with multiple dealership locations and a long-term commitment to your success.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform basic maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
  • Inspect vehicles for wear and damage and communicate findings to service advisors or senior technicians
  • Check and adjust tire pressure and refill fluid levels as needed
  • Install new oil filters and drain plugs
  • Lubricate fittings and perform general vehicle upkeep
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections following dealership and manufacturer guidelines
  • Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong work ethic and desire to build a long-term career in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and computer literacy
  • Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and eagerness to learn
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
