  • Oversee policy development, process improvement, and compliance activities.
  • Direct responses to internal and external audits, ensuring completion of corrective actions.
  • Manage administrative services such as space planning, procurement coordination, and special projects.
  • Mentor and develop professional staff; support leadership training and succession planning.
  • Liaise with Metro departments, external agencies, and key stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Support budget planning, analysis, and reporting for administrative operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced public-sector administrative executive who thrives in complex, fast-paced organizations. They bring a strategic mindset, strong political and business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:
  • Proven success managing high-level administrative operations and project oversight.
  • Expertise in developing and leading training, policy, and compliance programs.
  • Skill in balancing competing priorities and driving results under deadlines.
  • Experience with workforce planning, organizational development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and advanced Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of senior management-level experience in administrative operations, executive support, or program management.
  • License: Valid California Class C Driver’s License (or ability to meet travel requirements). PMP certification preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Metro offers a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including:
