Job description

Pacific Northwest | Surgical Co-Management Setting Northwest Eye Surgeons

is a premier, multi-location ophthalmology practice delivering advanced medical and surgical eye care across the Pacific Northwest. With a long-standing reputation for excellence, subspecialty-trained surgeons, and a strong referral network, we offer optometrists the opportunity to practice at the highest clinical level—without sacrificing work-life balance.

We are currently seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our collaborative MD/OD team in Washington State.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
  • Earning potential up to $200,000 with a strong production model
  • Four-day workweek for exceptional work-life balance
  • Highly respected, established practice with long-term stability
  • State-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical technology
  • Dedicated clinical support staff—focus on patient care, not admin
  • Collaborative surgical referral setting with fellowship-trained ophthalmologists
  • Ongoing CE, professional development, and advanced training
  • Live and work in one of Washington’s most scenic and desirable regions
Position Highlights

This role is ideal for an optometrist who enjoys medical optometry and surgical co-management, particularly cataract and glaucoma care. You’ll work closely with ophthalmologists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care from diagnosis through post-operative management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive medical eye exams and advanced diagnostics
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract and glaucoma patients
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and long-term eye health
  • Co-manage care with ophthalmologists in a team-based model
  • Maintain strong relationships with referring providers
  • Complete, accurate, timely EMR documentation
  • Participate in CE and training opportunities
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary plus production incentives
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer contribution
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Full ancillary benefits package
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • Equal Opportunity Employer
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
  • Active Washington State license (or ability to obtain)
  • Interest or experience in cataract and glaucoma co-management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient-first mindset and commitment to clinical excellence
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
