Job Title: Associate Operator (Operator I)

Duration: 6 Months
Schedule: Fireman’s Rotation (2 Days | 2 Nights | 4 Days On, 3 Days Off)
Shift Timing: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
PR: $20-22.00/hourly
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to support production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves performing basic operational tasks under supervision, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and support production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic job functions under the supervision of a qualified operator
- Operate within assigned work areas and assist in routine production activities
- Clean, maintain, and organize tools, equipment, and workspaces
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions accurately
- Perform basic machine adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Support team goals and assist peers when needed
- Adhere to Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) policies
- Manage time effectively to meet production targets and deadlines
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor machine adjustments
- Experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP, SOPs, audits, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, email, internet use)
- Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and teamwork)
- Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Key Working Relationships
- Internal: Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Teams
- External: Suppliers and Vendors
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing, laboratory, or warehouse setting
- Exposure to potentially hazardous materials, including chemicals and biological substances
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods (up to 75% of the time)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work extended or non-standard hours based on production needs
