Acute Care Pharmacy Senior Manager

Step into a career-defining adventure as the Acute Care Pharmacy Senior Manager at a premier Western Washington hospital—energize your leadership, elevate patient outcomes, and love what you do every day!

As an Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager, this is the place to lead in a mission-driven, patient-first environment recognized for clinical excellence, low infection rates, and high patient experience while benefiting from cutting-edge automation, AI-supported clinical decision tools, telepharmacy pilots, hospital-at-home innovation, research collaborations, and an award-winning workplace culture that accelerates growth for every Acute Care Pharmacy Manager.

Within the Pharmacy Department—spanning Pharmacy Operations, Inpatient Pharmacy, and Acute Care Pharmacy—the Acute Care Pharmacy Senior Manager will guide a high-acuity, technology-enabled service that operates within a fully integrated care-and-coverage model and supports the hospital's highest ranking for overall quality of care, bringing together streamlined workflows, robust antimicrobial stewardship, and outcomes-focused medication management to empower every Pharmacy Operations Assistant Director and Inpatient Pharmacy Director-level partner to perform at top of license.

Reporting to an Inpatient Pharmacy Director or Pharmacy Operations Assistant Director, the Acute Care Pharmacy Senior Manager will lead clinical specialists, pharmacists, supervisors, and technicians; drive sterile compounding excellence (USP standards), medication safety, accreditation readiness, budget stewardship, scheduling, talent development, decentralized clinical services, and EHR optimization while collaborating daily with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team—physicians, APPs, case management, and quality leaders—to refine protocols, reduce variation, and deliver reliable, patient-centered care as an Acute Care Pharmacy Manager.

Life in Western Washington rewards an Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager with a rare blend of outdoor adventure and urban energy—think year-round hiking, kayaking, and skiing framed by the Cascades and the Sound; headlining concerts, galleries, and theater; a renowned food scene of seafood, coffee, and farm-to-table; mild four-season weather; strong schools and top-tier universities; a dynamic job market across technology, aerospace, life sciences, and healthcare; a spectrum of housing from urban lofts to quiet suburbs; robust public transit with light rail, buses, and ferries plus bike-friendly corridors; an inclusive community vibe with neighborhood festivals, pro and collegiate sports, and pet-friendly parks; clean air and green spaces; reliable digital infrastructure; no state income tax; international travel access; and thoughtful growth planning—ideal for an Acute Care Pharmacy Senior Manager seeking balance, opportunity, and proximity to nature.

The hospital offers the Acute Care Pharmacy Senior Manager competitive compensation with performance incentives, potential sign-on and relocation support, comprehensive health benefits, wellness resources, generous paid time off, retirement options with employer contributions, tuition assistance, paid CEUs, licensure and certification support, and transparent pathways for advancement—connect with a Clinical Management Consultants recruiter today to explore the Inpatient Pharmacy Director and Acute Care Pharmacy Manager leadership track and ignite the next chapter of your career.
