Specialty Cleaning Coordinator / Floor Technician
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Specialty Services Coordinator to join our Special Services Team. Unlike a general porter role, this position focuses on high-impact technical cleaning tasks that require specialized equipment amp; advanced techniques.
You will be responsible for traveling to various locations to clean based on the scope of the job ensuring that windows, floors, surfaces, amp;/or hard-to-reach areas are left in pristine condition amp; exceeding customer expectations.
This is an individual contributor role that requires a high degree of self-management, physical stamina, amp; a "keen eye" for spots others might miss.

Key Responsibilities
Floor Care amp; Restoration:
Floor Care amp; Restoration:
- Perform professional floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, buffing, amp; polishing hard surfaces
- Execute deep-clean carpet extraction amp; spotting
- Operate heavy machinery such as auto-scrubbers, burnishers, amp; industrial extractors
Specialized Window Cleaning:
- Clean interior and exterior glass, mirrors, amp; partitions using squeegees, water-fed poles, or lift equipment as needed
- Ensure streak-free finishes amp; track/sill detailing
High Dusting amp; Detail Work:
- Clear dust amp; debris from vents, light fixtures, ceiling pipes, amp; ledges (often requiring the use of ladders or lifts)
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces amp; architectural features
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform basic daily maintenance amp; cleaning of specialized equipment to ensure longevity amp; safety
- Report any mechanical failures or supply shortages immediately
Safety amp; Compliance:
- Follow all OSHA amp; safety guidelines, specifically regarding chemical handling (SDS) amp; "CAUTION" signage
- Safely operate aerial lifts or scaffolding (as needed per job scope).
Required Skills amp; Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years in specialized janitorial service
- OSHA Aerial amp; Scissor Lift Certification preferred
- OSHA PPE Certification preferred
Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency with floor chemicals, dilution ratios, amp; the mechanical operation of industrial cleaning tools
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Comfort working at heights (ladders amp; lifts)
