The Carpenter Apprentice will engage in a variety of residential, renovation, remodeling, and commercial building projects. Working closely with a senior carpenter or as part of a larger crew of apprentices, this role provides hands-on experience in all aspects of carpentry workmanship. The apprentice will develop skills in woodwork, blueprint reading, and equipment handling while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform woodworking tasks under guidance
• Handle and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
• Prepare materials according to project requirements
• Measure and mark materials accurately
• Support assembly and installation processes
• Follow safety compliance and procedures
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Competence in measurement techniques
• Understanding of safety procedures
• Experience in woodworking
• Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
