Security Architect
M-Th in-office; Various office locations:

This position will report to the CISO and will engage across various members of the security team including (Deputy CISO), (Security Technology Manager), (Enterprise Architect) & their VP of Ecommerce.Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, risk management, and security technologies. The Security Architect will work closely with the CISO to ensure the security of our systems and data.
  • Design and implement security solutions to protect systems and data.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor security systems and respond to incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security into operations.
  • Stay current with security trends, technologies, and threats.
  • Provide training and guidance on security best practices.
  • Prepare and present security reports to the CISO and stakeholders.
  • Work with new technologies to ensure tools interact with current tools, including configuration (API), credentials, data management, and requirement alignment.
  • Ensure applications are built per security inspection standards and collaborate closely with project managers.
  • Evaluate and upgrade outdated technologies to meet current security standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions.
  • Experience with risk management and security assessments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid security background with some architecture experience.
  • Experience working with in-house developed applications and codebases.
  • Ecommerce experience is a strong plus, retail also helpful
  • Background in a large multi-national organization is a strong plus.
  • Utilization of AppDev tools like Vericode, Sneek, Ox, etc. is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with AD, Linux systems, Snowflake, Azure, and VMWare.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, cloud certifications).
