Sales Coordinator
Position Summary
The Sales & Marketing Assistant plays a key supporting role in driving revenue and enhancing the guest experience at Overton Hotel. This position provides administrative, sales, and marketing support to the Sales & Marketing team while also assisting hotel leadership with day-to-day operational and strategic initiatives.
We are seeking an energetic, hands-on individual who is always ready to jump in, support any department, and keep operations moving forward. This is a highly visible role requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
ยท Assist the Director of Sales with tracking project timelines, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure initiatives are executed efficiently
ยท Assist Sales Managers with prospecting, lead generation, and account research
ยท Manage and update CRM systems, account records, and sales activity tracking
ยท Coordinate site visits, show rooms, client tours, and VIP arrangements
ยท Conduct follow-ups with clients to maintain relationships and uncover new opportunities
Marketing Support
ยท Assist with execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and partnerships
ยท Liaison between hotel and marketing team giving feedback for social media content, email marketing, and website updates
ยท Support creation of sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials
ยท Help maintain brand standards across all departments, ensuring all collateral is approved and with consistent messaging
Leadership & Administrative Support
ยท Provide direct administrative and project support to the General Manager and hotel leadership team
ยท Assist the General Manager with tracking project timelines, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure initiatives are executed efficiently
ยท Prepare reports, presentations, and internal communications
ยท Assist in organizing meetings, events, and strategic initiatives- taking notes when needed
ยท Handle special projects that contribute to overall hotel performance
Operations & Team Support
ยท Act as a flexible, on-the-floor resourceโready to assist across departments as business needs arise
ยท Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the hotel, supporting both team members and guests
ยท Step in to assist with events, group arrivals, and high-demand periods
ยท Foster a team-first environment by proactively identifying ways to support operations
Qualifications
ยท 1โ3 years of experience in hospitality, sales, marketing, or administrative support preferred
ยท Strong organizational and multitasking skills
ยท Excellent written and verbal communication
ยท Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Opera, and STS a plus
ยท Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
ยท Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
ยท Energetic, proactive, and willing to take initiative across multiple areas of the hotel
ยท Professional, positive, and service-driven attitude
Preferred Skills
ยท Experience in hotel sales or events
ยท Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools
ยท Excellent communication skills and basic understanding of hotel operations
