Essential Functions:
- Review x-rays and check room for case specific instruments, supplies, and implants.
- Apply dressings, splints, immobilizers, slings, as directed.
- Expedite room turnover. Assist with cleaning and prep for the next case.
- Maintain privately owned instruments.
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations, interpret and correlate laboratory and diagnostic procedures as directed by the Supervising Physician.
- Order, collect, and perform appropriate laboratory or diagnostic procedures, and studies.
- Order, prescribe, dispense and administer medication, orthosis, orthotics, braces and other orthopaedic devices as may be allowed by state legislation.
- Design, conduct and/or participate in research studies, manage databases, and perform quality assurance as directed by the supervising physician.
- Perform minor procedures such as wound care and joint injection as needed.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- As a member of the NOC team, you may be asked to assist whenever or wherever there is a need.
- Orthopedic Care Knowledge
- Liaison with Consulting Physicians amp; Nurses

Requirements:
- Board Certified, active Nebraska license in good standing, amp; DEA license
- Two years experience is preferred, but not required
- Orthopedic knowledge is preferred.
