Experienced Professional Organizer | Contract, NJ, Eastern PA & Staten Island

Organizing NJ is hiring an experienced organizer. This isn't an entry-level role.

Our work runs the full range. Some projects are high-ticket and product-heavy, styled pantries, custom closets, whole-home installs where the finished space is the kind clients photograph and share on Instagram. Others are volume work with families in crisis or transition: seniors downsizing, homes merging, people navigating a move or a loss. Both matter to us. The first builds the brand, the second is often why people call.

You'd own a space and finish it, make product and placement calls without checking in, and handle clients through the hard parts, including the emotional ones.

What we're looking for

- 2+ years professional organizing experience

- Real design eye and independent judgment

- Warmth and patience with overwhelmed or grieving clients

- Able to measure a space and build a product list after day one, dividers, hangers, bins, so day two installs without delays

- Comfortable documenting projects on site, before and after photos and video, since our content comes from this work

- Computer literate: uploading files to shared folders, working from our product gallery and retail sites, shared docs

- Reliable transportation, comfortable traveling throughout NJ, Eastern PA, and Staten Island

Details

Contract, $40, project-based with variable hours. Good fit if you have your own client base and want to fill your calendar, or want high-quality work without running everything yourself.

There's a path to a lead role here. Organizers who consistently run a space independently and handle clients well move into leading projects at a higher rate.
