Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, establishing baseline data for targeting treatment goals.
  • Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs. This includes implementing evidence-based practices and utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
  • Administer hands-on treatment techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
  • Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, home exercise regimens, and strategies to promote overall wellness.
  • Continuously monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and striving for measurable improvement in their functional abilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records to track interventions and progress, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those dealing with chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, and patients with balance and gait impairments. Our approach is centered around achieving functional independence, improving range of motion, and reducing pain through tailored rehabilitation strategies. You will play a vital role in guiding patients on their journey to recovery, helping them achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
  • Current certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required.
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience is necessary, with experience in outpatient rehabilitation being highly preferred.
  • Competency in utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to various age groups and conditions.
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively assess and evaluate patient conditions and respond to treatment needs proactively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare teammates efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a rehabilitation facility or clinical setting specializing in physical therapy.
  • Knowledge of specialized treatment protocols for conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and neurological rehabilitation.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
