Job description

Position Overview

OmegaTab is hiring an HVAC Technician to perform field testing, inspection, and verification of commercial and industrial mechanical systems.

Important: This is NOT an installation or repair role. You will not be doing service calls or installs. Instead, you’ll focus on evaluating system performance, verifying proper operation, and identifying issues.

This is a great opportunity for someone with HVAC, electrical, or mechanical experience who wants to step into a more technical, less physically demanding role with long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform on-site testing and inspection of commercial and industrial HVAC systems
  • Evaluate airflow, controls, and overall system performance
  • Verify proper installation and functionality of mechanical and electrical components
  • Identify inefficiencies, errors, or inconsistencies in system operation
  • Document findings and provide clear reports
  • Travel to job sites using a company-provided vehicle

What This Role Is NOT

This position is NOT for technicians looking for:

  • Installation work
  • Service/repair calls
  • On-call or emergency HVAC work

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems (preferred)
  • Open to training for mechanically inclined candidates
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to understand or learn technical diagrams/schematics
  • Comfortable working in commercial/industrial environments
  • Valid driver’s license
