Octane Roadhouse is a high-energy beer and wine bar, restaurant, and entertainment venue located in Lancaster, California. Since opening in 2018, our mission has been to create something different in the Antelope Valley by bringing together great food, cold beer, entertainment, leagues, private events, and a welcoming atmosphere under one roof.

Guests visit Octane for more than just food and drinks. We host pool leagues, cornhole leagues, private parties, corporate events, community events, and live entertainment. 

Our team plays a major role in creating an experience that keeps guests coming back.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
• Verify guest identification and comply with alcohol service laws
• Process transactions accurately using a POS system
• Monitor guest behavior and help maintain a safe environment
• Assist with food service and food running as needed
• Work closely with teammates to ensure efficient service
• Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, customer service, or bartending experience is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of beer styles and beer service is a plus
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have or obtain a California Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) certification
• Must have or obtain a Food Handler certification

Hiring Process:

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: minimum wage to start + tips

Expected hours: 10 – 25+ per week
