Experienced Carpenter Helper – Spanish Required

Octametro LLC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Carpenter Helper with previous hands-on carpentry experience to join our workshop in Doral, Florida.

Our company specializes in the fabrication of custom trade show booths, retail kiosks, displays, counters, cabinets, and commercial fixtures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist carpenters with the fabrication and assembly of cabinets, wood structures, trade show booths, kiosks, and commercial fixtures.
• Measure, prepare, cut, sand, and organize materials.
• Prepare wood components for painting, laminating, or finishing.
• Safely operate basic hand and power tools.
• Assist with on-site assembly and installation when required.
• Load, unload, pack, and organize materials and completed projects.
• Maintain tools and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow instructions from the lead carpenter and workshop supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous hands-on experience working in carpentry is required.
• Must have experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Must speak Spanish.
• Ability to read measurements and use a measuring tape accurately.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely.
• Must be punctual, responsible, dependable, and able to follow instructions.
• Availability to work overtime and occasional weekends when required.
• Reliable transportation to our workshop in Doral is preferred.
• Experience with cabinets, laminates, trade show fabrication, or commercial millwork is highly desirable.
• Experience working with solid surface materials such as Corian is a plus.
