Role Description
The Book to Film Adaptation & Book Editing Intern will support the development team in evaluating books and written materials for potential film and television adaptation.
Day-to-day tasks may include reading manuscripts, preparing coverage and story summaries, suggesting adaptation approaches, and assisting with editing and refining book content.
The intern will help maintain project trackers, conduct light industry and market research, and participate in internal discussions about story, character, and tone.
This is an internship role based in Culver City, CA with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will gain insight into the adaptation process and the fundamentals of development and editing.
