Job description

Job Responsibilities:
1. Draft commonly used overseas legal documents and contract templates; draft, review, and amend various overseas contracts and legal documents; and establish localized legal document templates.
2. Manage accounts receivable by timely tracking project receivables and upcoming due dates, and assist local subsidiaries in achieving receivables control targets.
3. Identify and manage the Company's overseas operational risks, and promptly issue warnings and report significant risks.
4. Handle litigation cases to recover or avoid losses for the Company.
5. Organize risk management training sessions, establish a localized risk case database, and develop country-specific compliance guides.
6. Establish and improve the risk management systems (contract management, accounts receivable management, litigation management) for local subsidiaries, and optimize relevant IT processes.
7. Coordinate with local external counsel overseas.
8. Perform other tasks assigned by leadership.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Law or a related field. Admission to the local state bar (or equivalent legal qualification) is preferred; knowledge of Corporate Law is a plus.
2. At least 1 year of experience working as in-house counsel, legal assistant, or paralegal. Experience providing cross-state legal support is preferred.
3. Familiarity with U.S. commercial/business law and labor/employment law (specifically Texas state regulations).
4. Strong English reading and writing skills, with the ability to independently handle and draft English legal documents.
5. Possesses rigorous logical thinking and strong communication skills. Must be responsible, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
6. Strong bilingual communication skills in both Chinese and English are highly preferred.
