Addiction Treatment Center Director

Their main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for the treatment center

  • Overseeing daily operations of the center and ensure it functions efficiently

  • Recruiting, training and managing staff members, including therapists, counselors, and administrative staff

  • Planning, coordinating, and supervising the delivery of quality patient care and services

  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and licenses

  • Developing and managing the center’s budget

  • Conducting regular meetings with staff to discuss patient treatment progress, center operations, and continuous improvement strategies

  • Building relationships with local community organizations and healthcare providers

  • Ensuring the center maintains a high level of patient satisfaction and confidentiality

  • Evaluating the performance of the center and staff, and implement necessary improvements

  • Keeping updated with latest developments in addiction treatment and incorporate them into the center’s practices

Job Brief

·       We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Addiction Treatment Center Director to oversee the day-to-day activities of our addiction treatment facility.

·       The Director’s responsibilities include ensuring all staff provide optimum care to patients, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations, and managing the overall operations of the center.

·       The ideal candidate should have solid experience in healthcare administration, a strong understanding of addiction treatment methodologies, and a deep commitment to patient care and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the addiction treatment center

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

  • Recruit, train, and manage staff to provide quality patient care

  • Oversee patient treatment plans and monitor progress

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local health and community organizations

  • Manage the facility’s budget and resources

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

  • Implement and review policies and procedures

  • Report to and work closely with the board of directors

  • Ensure the highest standards of patient care and services are met

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in a similar role, preferably in an addiction treatment center

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal healthcare regulations

  • Understanding of addiction treatment methodologies

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism

  • BS degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or related field

Additional Information

  • Work Environment: Addiction Treatment Center. This position may require occasional travel for meetings or training sessions.

  • Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  • Pay Range: $80,000 minimum to $120,000 maximum

  • Location: Dubuque, Iowa
