Construction Superintendent – Lead High-Impact Federal Prime Contracting Projects


Job Overview

The Opportunity You will serve as a pivotal field leader, managing high-stakes federal projects ranging from $2 million to $20 million. This role empowers you to uphold rigorous quality and safety standards for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that prioritizes mission-driven service.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Direct all daily field operations for prime federal contracts to ensure project milestones are met on time.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards required by USACE and OSHA.
  • Coordinate complex logistics and subcontractor schedules to maintain high-efficiency project delivery.
  • Maintain precise digital documentation using MS Office and specialized construction management software.
  • Resolve technical on-site issues immediately to prevent delays in government project timelines.
  • Mentor junior staff through the proprietary Center for Excellence to foster professional growth.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising projects for a Prime Federal Contractor.
  • Recent OSHA 30-hour certification (within the last 5 years).
  • Current U.S.A.C.E. Construction Quality Control for Contractors certification.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and construction-related software.
  • Proven history of managing project values between $2,000,000 and $20,000,000.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring field teams and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of federal building codes and specialized government installations.
