Job description

O2 Fitness offers the best in fitness equipment, personal training and group exercise throughout the Carolinas. We promise to provide a welcoming, motivating and clean environment with a professional and caring staff to help our clients achieve real results. We are committed to helping our members create a whole-body approach to wellness by offering an all-inclusive health and fitness experience. We recognize that each members fitness journey is different, thus, we offer a wide variety of group classes, small group activities and personal training.

The Child Care / Kids Club Team Member is responsible for our organizations consistent achievement of the O2 Fitness mission and core values. A Child Care / Kids Club Team Member ensures the success of our company, the success of their department, and the success of themselves by creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for the children of O2 Fitness members and guests ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 years.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members in a friendly and professional manner upon entering the Kids Club area
  • Ascertain that all appropriate forms are completed by parent/guardian
  • Monitor the parents to ensure they sign in and out for their children without exceeding the 2-hour Kids Club time limit
  • Follow proper guest procedures when non-members visit the club
  • Monitor for the safety and well-being of each child
  • Organize activities appropriate for the various ages to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment.
  • Supervise the use of toys and supplies and notify management of supply needs and repairs
  • Maintains a clean, orderly area, picking up as needed, and sanitizing toys as instructed.
  • Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire while on duty
  • Promote O2 services
  • Other duties as assigned to support the vision and mission at O2 Fitness

Experience

  • Current CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications preferred
  • Childcare experience is preferred
