Reading Teacher K-8, Itinerant (Part-Time)I. Position Details:Location-This is a Tri-County Itinerant position currently based out of Crawford Christian Academy, providing services to Crawford Christian as well as Seton CatholicDepartment: School Improvement Services - Federal and State ProgramsStart Date: 2026-2027 school yearSalary: Bachelor's: $43.38/hour, Master's $45.96/hour, Master's +15 credits: $45.96/hourPTO: 10 paid sick days, 1 Personal Day, 1 Emergency Day per school year (prorated based on start date)Benefits: Eligible to purchase Dental & Vision Insurance at full premium at time of hire or open enrollmentNumber of Positions: 1II. Position Overview:The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) has a need for a Part-Time Reading Teacher, working with grades K-8. This position is responsible to plan, provide, and implement skill-based interventions to students that will result in students achieving academic success. The Part-Time Reading Teacher will work collaboratively with professional staff to implement a quality reading program that meets the needs of students needing intervention by delivering small group instruction within established curriculum guidelines. This position will also be responsible for responding to a wide range of inquiries from student's parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.III Required Qualifications:- PA Teaching Certification- Reading Specialist Certification- Driver's license in your state of residence and reliable transportation
