Join Our Team as an RN Weekend Supervisor!

Are you a passionate nursing leader who thrives on mentoring teams and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care? Northern Lights is looking for a dedicated and experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to lead our skilled nursing team and support excellence in resident outcomes. If you're ready to step into a meaningful leadership role where your clinical expertise and compassion make a daily difference, we want YOU on our team!

At Northern Lights, we’re all about making lives better—whether it’s for our residents, clients, or the incredible people who work with us (that’s you!). We believe in the power of hospitality, stewardship, integrity, respect, and humor®, and we bring those values to life every single day.

Now, let’s talk about YOU and why you’ll love this role:

What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)

Lead with Heart & Expertise:

  • Supervise day-to-day clinical operations for your unit, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, CNAs, and caregivers—leading by example with kindness and professionalism.

  • Coordinate care services, staffing assignments, and clinical processes to support resident needs.

Champion Clinical Excellence & Compliance:

  • Monitor resident conditions, care plans, and documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Participate in care conferences, audits, and QA meetings to support continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a liaison with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure collaborative, holistic care.

Support a Positive Work Environment:

  • Foster a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork.

  • Help with onboarding and training new nurses and support staff.

  • Promote open communication and a calm, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Compassion & Leadership Skills)

Licensure & Credentials:

  • Active RN license in the state of employment required.

  • CPR certification required; additional leadership or specialty certifications are a plus.

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care environment required.

  • Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, regulations, and care planning.

  • Excellent leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, lift, bend, and assist residents throughout your shift.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and respond quickly to emergencies.

Perks & Benefits (Because You Deserve It!)

  • Competitive salary & leadership bonuses

  • Paid time off & flexible scheduling options

  • Health, dental & vision insurance for qualifying team members

  • Ongoing leadership training & career development opportunities

  • A supportive, mission-driven team that values your impact every day
