We provide a comprehensive continuum of care, from detox through residential and outpatient treatment, rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based practice and a deep belief that recovery is possible for everyone we serve.

Summary

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the Maintenance Team Lead, the Custodian - PT is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment at the Nexus Family Recovery Center Facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides a safe and clean environment in assigned areas.
  • Responds to facilities tickets for housekeeping as assigned by the Maintenance Team Lead.
  • Assures that cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained, stocked, and ordered in a timely manner.
  • Reports any maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Team Lead.
  • Assists with the upkeep of building and grounds of Nexus Family Recovery Center.
  • Demonstrates regular, predictable attendance and punctuality.
  • Other duties within the organization as assigned.
Competencies
  • Good interpersonal skills, strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning methods and approaches.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Willing to learn new duties and skills.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Certification, Licenses, Registrations
  • Current driver's license and good driving record required.

  • Adheres to the agency's compliance plan, code of conduct, and the Nexus policies & procedures.
